FORMER England player Samit Patel made his debut for Hoylandswaine in their opening day win at home to Skelmanthorpe in the Huddersfield Premiership.
He took two wickets but was not needed to bat as Swaine chased 119 for a nine-wicket win. Umer Yaqoob took four wickets then Ben Kohler-Cadmore carried his bat with 68 not out off 37 balls including six sixes.
