JENSON Young finished on the podium at the second race of the National Cyclocross Trophy.
The 23-year-old from Hemingfield came third in the event in South Shields, two minutes and six seconds behind the winner.
He has finished fourth then third in the first two legs of the five-race competition with the next in Devon on November 17.
