A TRIAL date has been set for a man who is accused of murder.
Alan Sutton, 41, was found by emergency services on September 1 on Burton Road, Monk Bretton, with suspected stab wounds to the chest.
Last week, Callum Strachan, 21, of Burton Road, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and two counts of possessing bladed articles.
On Monday at Sheffield Crown Court he entered no plea, with a trial being set for July 21, 2025.
He has been remanded ahead of a further hearing which will take place on October 9.
