Davis Keillor-Dunn has signed for Barnsley from Mansfield Town.

The 26-year-old forward joins on a three-year deal, with the option for another year, for an undisclosed fee.

He netted 22 goals and added ten assists as the Stags were promoted from League Two last season. The Reds are not expected to do any more deadline day business.

Sporting director Mladen Sormaz said: “We are pleased to welcome Davis to the Club. It’s no secret that we have long been admirers of him as he is a top-quality player and provides us with further attacking options at the top end of the pitch.

“We are confident that he will excel at this level, he has not taken the easy route to this point, but Davis has demonstrated the determination, enthusiasm, hunger we want in the building to help take the step to the highest level.

“Darrell, the board, the recruitment team and I were in constant communication, and we are all delighted the deal is finally over the line and thank everyone at the club for what was a team effort.”

Keillor-Dunn added: “I’m absolutely buzzing, yeah. It’s been stressful, it’s been a while, it’s took its time. Good things come to those who wait!”
