Barnsley will visit Manchester United in the third round of the EFL Cup next month.
The Reds beat Wigan in the first round and Sheffield United in the second to reach the third round for the first time since 2021.
The round is due to be played either the week commencing September 16 or 23.
Barnsley have not visited Old Trafford since 1998.
