HIGHAM won by a wicket in a Barnsley derby thriller at Worsbrough Bridge in Division Three.

Chasing 170, Higham fell from 130 for three to 161 for nine before scraping home, with one ball to spare.

Liam Levitt took six wickets for Bridge while Higham’s Harry Bamforth took four and Brad Gledhill three before hitting the winning runs.

Kexborough were dismissed for 92 in a four-wicket loss to Norton Woodseats.

Monk Bretton were removed for 128 in a five-wicket loss to Hatfield Town in the Mick Savage Trophy.

Darfield’s winning start to the Division One season came to an end as they were bowled out for 103 chasing 159 at Warmsworth. Liam Hague took four wickets.

But Darfield chased 161 at Doncaster Town 2nd XI to win by eight wickets in the Whitworth Cup.

Alex Keeton took three wickets then Jabari Mills hit 52 not out off 21 balls.

Elsecar 2nd XI chased 120 for a four-wicket win at Aston Hall 2nd XI.

Elliott Evans took five wickets and Vineeth Venugopalan four.

Wombwell Main dismissed Hallam 3rd XI for 104 in a three-wicket Division Four win.

There were three wickets for Tom Peck and Richard Wilkinson.

Silkstone United were bowled out for 124 chasing 198 at Doncaster 3rd XI. Chris Barraclough took four wickets.
