Barnsley captain Mads Andersen has been named in the League One Team of the Season.
The Danish centre-back has been an ever-present for the promotion chasing Reds this season, after joining them in 2019.
Head coach Michael Duff said: “Mads has been fantastic. Earlier in the season, he could have said ‘how come I am still here?’
“I had a long chat with him and told him I was going to make him captain.
“He’s been unbelievable to work with. He’s a good kid, a very good player and deserves to be in team of the year.”
