Barnsley RUFC have parted company with main first team coach Adam Bradley just three months into the season.
Bradley was brought to Shaw Lane from Hemsworth in the summer, after they just missed out on promotion last season. He leaves with them eighth in the 12-team Yorkshire League Two having lost seven of their 12 matches.
Head of coaching and rugby Mark Smith said: “We both felt that it was the right time to make the change following the first three months of the season.
“We wish Adam all the best and are grateful for him joining us at short notice in the summer. We will not replace Adam this season, unless we are approached by the right replacement, and coaching will be overseen by Ed Norris with input from a number of other people within the club.”
Bradley won his final match in charge 34-32 at home to fourth-placed North Ribblesdale on Saturday, immediately after which he left his role.
