SMALL change donations have made a big difference to a local dementia support charity thanks to a building society in Penistone.
Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support (BIADS) has received £500 from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation which is funded by the Small Change Big Difference scheme where members donate the pennies from the interest on their accounts just once a year.
BIADS is a charity which provides support to those who have any form of dementia and their families and friends as well as offering a range of services, information, emotional support, social opportunities, activities and events.
The funds are to be used to buy a new state of the art printer that the charity can use to produce information booklets.
