A university graduate from Goldthorpe has just received the 'opportunity of a lifetime' and is going to teach in Singapore.
Ashleigh Willetts, 21, of Lawnwood Drive, has got the job as an early years dance teacher at the Centre Stage School of Arts.
She will be teaching ballet, music and drama to children as young as 18 months at the private school in Singapore.
Ashleigh’s mum, Bev Crampton, 49, said her daughter has lived and breathed dance since the age of three.
Bev said: "It's great to have a true success story, when normally all you hear is how difficult it is for graduates to get jobs. this is the chance of a lifetime and I am so pleased for her."
Ashleigh studied performing arts at Blackpool University. She heard about the job from one of her university friends who was already employed at the school.
Ashleigh starts the job on September 9 and said that one of the hardest things for her will be sitting still during the 15 hour flight.
