BARNSLEY artist Adam Briscoe started work on his latest project this week.
Adam specialises in hand-drawn architectural art and has risen in popularity over the last 12 months.
His previous works include a mural revealed last year at the Glass Works, which celebrates the past and present of Barnsley.
He has also completed eye-catching work at Barnsley Football Club and Worsbrough Mill, both of which have been praised highly.
But his latest work looks like it could be one of his biggest yet - and it’s at The Open Kitchen in Barnsley College’s Old Mill Lane campus.
He’s been tasked with filling the entire wall with his artwork - with almost every subject at the college getting its own dedicated section.
He told the Chronicle: “Because it’s just items it’s been really nice to draw.
“You can put what you want into Pinterest and it gives you loads of ideas of what you can do.
“You’ve got your aprons, hats - it’s taking it as it comes.
“I’ve started lines, doing texture and shading - I’ve become addicted to it.
“It’s going well.”
But that’s not it for Adam, whose work is set to be showcased at the Barnsley 10K race later this year.
“I’ve done the T-shirts for the Barnsley 10K,” he said.
“When you finish you’ll get a free one.”
