Barnsley under 18s won 6-0 at Oldham Athletic in the first round of the FA Youth Cup on Monday.
Owen Warbuton opened the scoring then Kieran Graham added a brace before Arley Kay made it 4-0 at half-time.
Feyi Afuape scored twice in the second half to complete the rout.
It was the second successive game in which they netted six goals after a 6-1 home league win over Peterborough.
The young Reds are now due to visit Crewe Alexandra on Saturday in a league game.
