A BARNSLEY business is about to become recognised as an animal hospital.
Vets4Pets Barnsley, which treats more than 50,000 patients a year, will next week be officially unveiled as a 'hospital' status practice- the highest level a veterinary practice can achieve in the UK.
That means the practice, on Wilthorpe Road can offer state-of-the-art treatments, including key hole surgery and a hydrotherapy pool to help rehabilitate injured animals.
The business has grown by more than 1,700 per cent since opening in 2003 and now has 51 staff.
