ADAM Phillips is likely to be fit to come back into Barnsley’s team in their next league match at Blackpool on October 19, head coach Darrell Clarke confirmed this week.
The midfielder and top-scorer has missed the last three games with a toe problem. They have taken him out of the side for the visits to Huddersfield this week and are confident the problem will have been resolved by the end of next week.
Josh Benson, also a midfielder, came off early in the midweek EFL Trophy game.
Clarke confirmed afterwards he had a tight hamstring.
Benson has had a series of injury issues in recent years.
Striker Max Watters has missed the last five games with an injury.
