PENISTONE under 11s secured first place in Division A after winning at title rivals Elsecar in a final day showdown.

Charlie Richards took two wickets for Penistone then Stanley Foster secured the win with the bat.

Division B champions Darton under 11s finished their league season with a win over Worsbrough Bridge.

N Narula hit 43 not out off 15 balls with seven fours, then took two wickets as did T Turner with A Parnandi claiming three.

J Brown top-scored for Worsbrough.

Wath under 11s won at Penistone Lions. Oliver Pickersgill took two wickets then Alexander Sidney and George Tingle top-scored.

Monk Bretton under 11s were victorious at Sprotbrough. Thomas Ashworth top-scored then there were two wickets each for Charlie Sanderson, Theo Jenson and Frankie Beachill.

Worsbrough Bridge under 13s beat Higham by 15 runs.

F Kemp and K Kilner top-scored for Worsbrough while Higham’s T Blavins and S Sixsmith took two wickets each.

G Vickers top-scored for Higham with S Allaway taking two for one for Worsbrough and Kilner three for three.

In the eight-a-side league, Elsecar under 13s beat Darfield. A Kemp hit 44 not out off 14 balls with ten fours.

There were two wickets for Darfield’s A Parker as well as Elsecar’s J Kemp and N Rushforth.

Rockingham under 13s defeated Cawthorne. Adam Cummins and Harry Swallow top-scored then took three wickets each.

Unbeaten Barnsley Woolley Miner under 17s defeated Elsecar to take the title. Finlay Parker-Wake took four for three and Harveer Batth two for five, before top-scoring.

O Mottram top-scored for Penistone then J Pearson took two wickets.

Monk Bretton under 17s won at Rockingham. Lucas Slatter top-scored for Rock then Jenson Hayes and Ben Davis for the Monks.

Elsecar under 15s beat Upper Haugh by six wickets.

George Dixon and Joshua Goulding took two wickets each then Dixon top-scored.

Rockingham under 15s defeated Wath by 71 runs. W King and E Singh top-scored for Rock.

B Fletcher took two wickets for Wath. Singh claimed three for four, M Kang two for nine and A Marlow two for none.

Wath then beat Sprotbrough.

C Whitehead and K Hill top-scored then H took three wickets.

Darton under 15s beat Houghton Main by 97 runs.

Corey Dooler top-scored for Darton then Jessica Butterfield, Elle Hislop and Johan Berlin took two wickets. Noah Tickett claimed two for four for Houghton.

Barnsley Woolley Miners under 15s beat Cawthorne.

A Chapman-Stott top-scored then O Chapman-Stott took four wickets. I Wilkes and W Ghafori took two each.

Cawthorne’s B Unwin – who also top-scored – took three for seven with two each for A Cadman and N Ferris.
