Barnsley Hockey Club look set for a relegation showdown with Doncaster in their last game of the Yorkshire Peak and Wold Division One season.
The Reds lost 3-2 at home to Horncastle so are third-bottom and three points clear of second-bottom Doncaster.
They are due to play each other in the only match left in the division, which is set to be hosted by Barnsley with the date yet to be confirmed. It is unclear whether two or three clubs will be relegated.
If it is two, whoever wins out of Barnsley and Doncaster will stay up, or the Reds if it is a draw.
If it is three, Doncaster are relegated and Barnsley must win to overtake fourth-bottom Chesterfield.
