A DOG walker killed when he was hit by a lorry on Dodworth Road was suffering an epileptic fit, his devastated wife has revealed.
Phillip Brown, 57, had been walking his beloved Welsh Springer Spaniel named Dylan at Penny Pie Park shortly before his death on Saturday morning.
His widow Denise has told the Chronicle she believed Phillip was killed instantly after losing his balance during a fit and falling from the kerb into the path of the lorry.
She said: “It’s such a shame he’s not getting to hear all the lovely tributes and nice things people have been saying about him. You really ought to hear all that while you’re alive.”
